THE APP:
I created the $1/Day Program to cut through the fitness fluff and give you exactly what you need to do to achieve your goals. This program relies on what the research says is required to lose fat and gain muscle. It consists of a weekly workout program (updated & progressed monthly) along with self-serve information and resources for nutrition and daily habits. You can ask questions and share your wins/struggles with me via private direct messaging within the app. I will answer questions and provide support, accountability, etc. but I won’t be able to customize the program for you.
1:1 Coaching includes an onboarding process where we discuss your training history, current health/fitness status, goals, and expectations. I then create a customized plan for you which includes workouts, nutrition, and daily habits based on exactly where you’re at in life and where you want to be. There are weekly 1:1 check-ins and I will work with you to adjust the plan as much as needed.
The $1/Day Program has three different 3 exercise options:
– Gym (obviously need a membership for this one).
– Home + Equipment (dumbbells, bench, pull-up bar, and a thick exercise band).
– Home + No Equipment (all bodyweight exercises).
If you don’t want to go to the gym, I would strongly suggest that you buy some workout equipment for home. It’s worth it, trust me. I don’t know what I would do without our home gym! I provide a bodyweight exercise plan for people who really are unable to buy any equipment but don’t want to delay getting started on their fitness journey. I see you guys!
The workouts and nutritional approach are based on what the research indicates has the highest return on investment. It is not personalized to you. It’s what I did to get in the best shape of my life from home as a new parent.
There will be no 1:1 check-ins in the $1/Day Program. However, you will be able to hop on a monthly live video call where I talk about health/fitness stuff and answer questions. If 1:1 check-ins are something you would like, check out my 1:1 Coaching option. 😊
The purpose of the private community group is to provide additional learning, accountability, and encouragement. It functions similar to a Facebook group, however it is accessible directly via the MyCoach app and does not require a Facebook account.
I post a casual prompt every Friday that you can respond to. If you have questions, the group is a great place for them. I answer all questions in the group and you may also get a helpful answer from someone else. This also allows everyone to learn from the answer together.
Not a problem! This program has exercise options for home and the gym. If you have no lifting/exercise experience, the home workouts in this program would be a great place for you to start. This will give you a chance to practice and get comfortable with the movements without the pressure of the gym.
p.s. every exercise has a video demonstration so you don't even need to Google what an RDL is. You can just watch the video right in the app!
